Zealousness: A Lesson from the Stage

Dear friends, today I’d like to share a story from my younger days, a tale that taught me the value of zealousness. This story takes place under the bright lights of the stage, where I learned that being zealous is not just about passion, but also about dedication and hard work.

The Audition

It was the spring of 1965, and our school was putting on a production of Hamlet. I was a young lad, full of dreams and aspirations, and I decided to audition for the lead role. I was zealous, yes, but I was also naive. I thought my passion alone would secure me the role.
