Harmony: A Lesson from the Circus
Dear friends, today I’d like to share a story from my youth, a tale that taught me the importance of harmony. This story takes place in a setting you might not expect: a bustling, vibrant circus.
Joining the Circus
As a young man, I found myself drawn to the allure of the circus. The excitement, the spectacle, the thrill of the unknown. I joined a traveling circus troupe, not as a performer, but as a humble hand, helping set up tents and care for the animals.
The Circus: A Symphony of Chaos
At first glance, a circus might seem like a chaotic place. Acrobats flying through the air, clowns squeezing into tiny cars, elephants balancing on balls. But beneath the surface, I discovered a profound sense of harmony.
Learning Harmony
Every performer, every act, every animal, had a role to play. Each one was a note in a grand symphony, and when they all played together, the result was a breathtaking spectacle that left audiences in awe. This was my first real lesson in harmony: understanding that every element, no matter how small, contributes to the whole.
Applying the Lesson
So, what does a circus have to do with your life? More than you might think. Like a circus, our lives are filled with many different elements. Family, work, hobbies, responsibilities. Each one is important, and each one contributes to the harmony of our lives.
When we understand this, we can better appreciate the value of each element, and work to maintain a balance that allows us to live in harmony. So, remember the circus, and remember the importance of harmony in your life.
Until next time, my friends, keep seeking balance and harmony in all that you do.
Yours in wisdom,
Kev
